   Toilet problems are one of the most common reasons for a plumbing service call including leaks, toilets running, not flushing completely, or not flushing at all.  Our highly trained technicians can diagnose and repair any problem quickly and professionally.

There are two types of leaks often seen with toilets, water leaking into the bowl and water leaking on the outside of the toilet.  Unless there is a crack in the toilet, most repairs are a matter of simply replacing a part.  Regardless of which type of leak you are experiencing, it could be adding more to your water bill than you are probably aware.

Perhaps the water flow in your toilet is insufficient causing the toilet to not flush completely.  This could be a result of the flapper or fill valve being worn out.  Another clue to worn out parts is when the toilet “flushes by itself” or the water constantly runs into the toilet bowl.

Toilet clogs can be caused by an over use of toilet paper, flushing down inappropriate items or, in the case of older toilets, a build up of calcium.  Perhaps the main drain is clogged, in which case the toilet can be pulled, the drain cleared, and the toilet reset.

If a new toilet is needed we have a variety of styles and two heights from which to choose.  If you prefer a higher toilet there is a 17” high model available.  If you are “going green” we offer low capacity flush toilets that use only 1.28 gallons of water per flush which minimizes your water use.  In addition, Nootbaar Plumbing’s office staff will be more than happy to assist with the paperwork required by your local water company for the most current rebate program.

We have a fully stocked warehouse so, in most cases, your toilet can be repaired or replaced the same day.  For those of you decorating with colors other than white or beige, we will be happy to assist you in contacting the manufacturer to obtain color samples to match your new toilet to your bathroom décor.
